Our Roots
Our journey began in 1995. Our founder, James Batt, spent decades working across the UK, Europe, and the US in high-performing IT environments—supporting everyone from start-ups to multinational enterprises.
But the pattern was always the same:

As an experienced IT Architect, James saw first-hand how disjointed systems and reactive thinking left companies vulnerable. That’s what led him to re-train as a Cybersecurity Consultant —earning elite certifications like CISSP, CEH, and NCSP, and dedicating himself to solving cybersecurity challenges at the source.
From this lived experience, Systems Secure was born.
